Class of 2022
Toni Ginnetti
Media Award

Born and raised in Illinois and one of the first women to cover a wide range of professional and college sports beats from the White Soxs to the Chicago Cubs, Toni Ginnetti paved the way for generations to come. A Chicago loyalist, she started her career with the Daily Herald and ended her career with the Chicago Sun-Times, retiring in 2014 after 33 years with the latter publication. She will go down in history as a woman who paved the way for other women in sports journalism.
