Roy Williams, a Hall of Fame basketball coach, is celebrated as one of the greatest in college basketball history. Over a 21-year career as a head coach, Williams led his teams to 16 seasons of 25+ wins, nine of which featured 30+ victories. Known for his extraordinary NCAA Tournament success, he ranks third all-time in tournament wins (55) and has the highest winning percentage among active coaches during his tenure. Williams coached seven Final Four teams, won three NCAA championships, and had 24 players drafted into the NBA. Inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2007, he is lauded for his integrity, adaptability, and dedication to player development. Williams remains a symbol of excellence in coaching.
