Phil Villapiano, born in Long Branch, New Jersey, is a former NFL linebacker best known for his time with the Oakland Raiders. A key defensive player, Villapiano was a four-time Pro Bowl selection and played a crucial role in the Raiders’ victory in Super Bowl XI. We are proud to award him our George Connor Award for his outstanding career and significant contributions to the sport.
