Patrick Kane

Patrick Kane is a three-time Stanley Cup champion, eight-time NHL All Star and was voted one of the 100 Greatest Players in NHL History in 2017. He has spent his entire NHL career with the Chicago Blackhawks, who selected Kane with the first overall pick in the 2007 NHL Draft. He has also represented the United States at the 2010 and 2014 Winter Olympics. Kane is a native of Buffalo, NY and arrived in Chicago as an 18-year-old, just a few months after the Blackhawks made him their highest draft pick in franchise history. He received the Calder Memorial Trophy as the league’s top rookie in 2008. Just one year later, Kane and fellow second-year player Jonathan Toews led the Blackhawks to the playoffs for the first time since 2002. In 2010, Kane and the Blackhawks made history, capturing the team’s first Stanley Cup in almost half a century, as Kane scored the Stanley Cup-winning goal in overtime. Kane led the Blackhawks in goals, assists and points during the historic season. Three years later, Kane won the Conn Smythe Trophy as Stanley Cup Playoffs MVP and Chicago lifted the Stanley Cup again. Helping the Blackhawks cement their status as an NHL dynasty, Kane led the Blackhawks in playoff scoring in 2015 as the team lifted their third Stanley Cup in five years. Kane turned in the finest season of his career in 2016, winning the Art Ross Trophy as the league’s scoring leader and the first American player in history to win the Hart Memorial Trophy as MVP. Entering the 2019-2020 season, Kane ranks among the Blackhawks all-time leaders in points, goals, assists and games played. In addition to his work on the ice, Kane has earned recognition for his efforts off the ice. The Patrick Kane Foundation was established in 2011 to benefit charitable organizations, and Kane has been active in promoting and supporting a number of local and national causes.
