Marcus Allen is one of the most dynamic and versatile running backs in NFL history. A standout at USC, Allen won the Heisman Trophy in 1981 and led the Trojans to a national championship in 1978. After being selected 10th overall in the 1982 NFL Draft by the Los Angeles Raiders, Allen quickly became a fixture in the NFL.

Over his 16-season career, Allen rushed for 12,243 yards and 123 touchdowns, while also contributing as a prolific receiver with 587 catches for more than 5,000 yards. His most notable achievement came in Super Bowl XVIII, where he was named Super Bowl MVP after rushing for 191 yards and scoring two touchdowns, leading the Raiders to a victory over the Washington Football Team.

A 6-time Pro Bowler and NFL MVP in 1985, Allen was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2003. In recognition of his extraordinary career and contributions to the game, Allen was honored with the Gale Sayers Award by the Chicagoland Sports Hall of Fame. Today, Allen remains a respected ambassador for the sport, admired for his excellence on the field and his charitable work off it.
