Andrew J. “Andy” McKenna, a prominent figure in sports and business, has made significant contributions to both arenas. As Chairman of McDonald’s Corporation and Schwarz Supply Source, as well as a director of the Chicago Bears, he has demonstrated exceptional leadership. McKenna also played key roles with the Chicago Cubs and White Sox, guiding the franchises to healthier futures and improved stadiums. Beyond sports, he has supported numerous philanthropic organizations, including the Museum of Science and Industry, the American Ireland Fund, and United Way.
McKenna’s accolades, including the Chicago Club of Notre Dame Man of the Year and the Woodrow Wilson Award for Corporate Citizenship, highlight his lifelong commitment to community service and business excellence. A graduate of the University of Notre Dame and DePaul University College of Law, McKenna, along with his wife, Joan, is a devoted family man with seven children and 24 grandchildren.
