Executive Director
A true Chicagoan at heart, Al Connor’s roots run deep in Streeterville. As an alumnus of Loyola Academy, he made a mark on their basketball teams during the early eighties, nurturing his passion for sports.
Al’s illustrious career encompasses over 30 years of success in sales and management, with a unique blend of experience in broadcast, multimedia, and sports. Notably, he held executive positions at renowned networks such as CBS, WGN-TV, and KRON-TV in San Francisco, adding a distinguished television career to his repertoire.
An alumnus of the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, MA, Al’s academic journey laid the foundation for his prosperous career.
Currently serving as the Executive Vice President at Connect Partnership Group, Al excels in brokering sponsorship and business deals in the sports, entertainment, and technology verticals. Beyond his professional endeavors, Al actively engages in community service, contributing his time to organizations like the Knights of Columbus and the Maryville Crisis Nursery.
Al is the proud son of esteemed pro football Hall of Famer and Chicagoland Sports Hall of Fame founder, George Connor, carrying forward a legacy of athletic excellence and dedication to the Chicago sports community.
Al resides in Lincoln Park with his wife Lesley and their two sons, Albert Jr. and Robbie.
